What we do
We run track workouts every Thursday morning at Doug Shaw Memorial Stadium in Myrtle Beach, SC. No fees, no sign-ups, no required gear beyond shoes that won't wreck the track surface.
Each week we publish a structured workout — intervals, tempo runs, speed work, race prep — designed for runners across a wide range of fitness. Every session includes scaling options for newer runners and suggestions for those who want more.
When and where
Show up a few minutes early to warm up. We start the main set at 7:15.
Your first time
Just come. Introduce yourself to whoever's stretching near the start line. Read the workout of the week on this site before you arrive so you know what's on deck. Check the Scaling section — it's written for you.
Bring water. Wear whatever you train in. Track spikes are welcome but not necessary. Flats or regular running shoes work fine on this surface.
You don't need to be fast. You need to be willing to work. The track is the great equalizer — everyone hurts on the last rep.
Who runs
The group ranges from people training for their first 5K to sub-3 marathoners. The workouts scale to meet you where you are. You'll run with people near your pace and push each other. That's the whole point of showing up instead of running alone.
